This committee develops and oversees programs to facilitate the growth of small businesses including the Irving Business Network, the Coffee Break on Main Street and the Five Star Business Mixers networking groups. The Committee coordinates the North Texas Small Business Summit, a regional small business summit and encourages businesses to apply for the US Chamber's Small Business of the Year which has led to Irving having more Blue Ribbon Small Businesses than any other city in America.
